Bio
Mike Tyler came from a business background where he was co-owner of a 60 year-old  small business.  He served south Tulsa and eastern Creek counties for 16 years in the Oklahoma House of Representatives (1989-2004).  ORMCA hired Tyler, who chaired the Transportation Committee from 1996-2004, in June of 2005.  He is a registered lobbyist for the concrete industry. 

Tyler attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa.  He served 8 years in the Oklahoma National Guard.  He is married to Norma Tyler, an educator with Central Technology Center.  They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
